TEACHING

Dr. Claudine Bonner is an experienced educator whose teaching portfolio spans sociology, history, education, and social work. With a focus on colonialism, racism, race, and public health, her courses at Mount Allison University, Dalhousie University, and other esteemed institutions reflect a deep commitment to critical thinking and social justice. In both undergraduate and graduate settings, Claudine Bonner addresses pressing topics such as systemic racism, the intersectionality of race and gender, and the historical context of Black communities in Canada. Whether through guest lectures on race and health or in-depth seminars on social inequality and power dynamics, her approach fosters rich academic discussions that challenge students to engage with complex, real-world issues.
